Boil Water Advisory Following Detection of Bacteria
Bacteria have been detected during routine water sampling.
The presence of coliform bacteria in drinking water is not necessarily a problem in itself and is generally not harmful to health. However, it may indicate that the water quality has changed. As a precautionary measure while awaiting the results of additional tests, residents are advised to boil their drinking water.
SMS Notification
Affected residents have received an SMS notification about the boil water advisory. Information has also been communicated through the municipality’s official channels and to local media.

Additional water samples are being collected from several locations throughout the distribution network, alongside other measures being carried out on the water supply system.
To ensure that the water supply can be declared safe again, two consecutive days of satisfactory test results are required.
We will provide regular updates. When the boil water advisory is lifted, residents will be notified by SMS, through the municipality’s official communication channels, and via local media.
